Wishing Wellness was founded by Lauren Young MA, Pg Dip, MBACP.  With over 13 years of experience working with children, young people and adults in an educational and therapeutic capacity, Lauren wanted to expand her vision beyond the success of The Wishing Well Retreat and offering 1:1 support.

Our Story

Our Director, Lauren Young, leads a successful therapy practice from, ‘The Wishing Well Retreat’, working with clients on a one-to-one basis. This provides great value and fulfils the mission statement of ‘supporting people to find their place in the world’. However, Lauren believed that more could be done to scale this mission. The ways in which people can be supported to realise that they have a place in this world are limitless and bursting with possibility.

Where does the name Wishing Wellness come from?

I have been working with Lauren for a few months now and to say it has been literally life-changing is no exaggeration. I genuinely wonder how I coped before having Laurens support. The change in my mindset due to her approach and techniques are incredible, and this has lead to me realising opportunities and experiences I never thought possible due to a shift in self-belief. I would recommend her services to anyone who may be struggling.

I was astonished by the results - lasting relief after one session. It’s like a switch flipped.
